Supportive Housing to Help You Continue Your Recovery Journey

Ongoing Support Means
Lifelong Recovery

Leading a life of sobriety takes commitment and personal growth. It doesn’t happen immediately after finishing an Inpatient or Outpatient treatment program. Living sober requires commitment and skills, including life skills and coping skills to manage challenges to sobriety and substance use disorders.

The recovery journey may have obstacles as patients learn to readjust and reintegrate into everyday life. A sober living home provides transitional housing with a community of peers in recovery and integrative treatment options to build a support system.

Once patients finish a drug and alcohol treatment program and return to their daily routines, they may encounter stressful situations or struggles in their professional, personal, or academic lives. These stresses can challenge sobriety and increase the risk of a relapse.

 What’s the Solution?

Structured sober living homes in Los Angeles, CA, provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space for those struggling with recovery and relapse. Everyone is on a similar recovery journey, so everyone can learn from one another and find their own path forward with confidence and personal resolve.

Staying in a sober living home offers support, structure, and resources to help patients manage addiction and sobriety to take control of their own lives, improve wellness, and achieve their own success stories.

What Is a
Sober Living Facility?

Sober living facilities or sober living homes are designated living spaces for patients who are in recovery and seeking to achieve a sober life. Patients share a recovery community of peers and staff members and learn valuable life skills, coping skills, and stress management to reintegrate into their routine lives successfully. With the support of peers and clinical staff, patients set and achieve goals in a safe and comfortable space and gain the structure they need to move forward.

The goal of a sober living home is transitional living to help patients take the next step from Residential Treatment or Inpatient or Outpatient programs in a treatment center into a support system with structure to help them thrive in their everyday lives. At Psyclarity, our sober living homes in Los Angeles provide peace and beautiful surroundings, free of distractions, to help each and every patient come together and manage the challenges of sober life and addiction recovery.

In addition, sober living homes and facilities provide a support system to help patients make the transition from more intensive addiction treatments to a life with more freedom and independence. Patients can support each other in their challenges and recovery journey by sharing experiences, learning coping skills, and establishing new and healthy routines.

What Does Life in a
Psyclarity Sober Living Home Look Like?

Psyclarity has the highest standard of care and accountability for ourselves and our patients in our sober living facilities. We provide the safest possible environment that focuses on accountability, awareness, and well-being. Any patient entering the sober living home must share in the commitment to relapse prevention, personal safety, and sober life skills. This is important not only for the health and safety of the patient but for the staff and fellow residents.

These rules are intended to provide structure and responsibility. We understand the struggles of substance abuse, however. When patients admit to poor judgment or a relapse, we show compassion and understanding to help them move forward with a renewed commitment to sobriety.

Recovery from substance abuse is often an ongoing challenge. Abstinence is necessary for a full and sober life and healthy future. Our sober living house staff will perform random drug testing and enforce a curfew for everyone’s safety and well-being. Patients are expected to show utmost respect for staff and peers in all activities.

Before becoming part of our sober living home, patients must commit to their ongoing treatment, therapy, house meetings or 12-step meetings, support groups, and some of the household work or expenses. Pets and overnight guests are strictly prohibited. Internet access is only granted on a case-by-case basis.

Living Home Promise
