at Our Los Angeles
Treatment Centers

We offer a full-spectrum approach to substance use and mental health treatment. Recovery doesn’t happen overnight, but we’re here to make sure it starts in the best possible way with comprehensive, evidence-based treatment programs tailored to each individual’s needs.

Lasting sobriety and recovery involves your professional, social, relational, or academic lives. We believe that the key to success is how well you’re integrated into your everyday life and roles, not just how you handle your mental health challenges.

That’s why every patient’s care plan is customized to their unique challenges and needs. Whether it’s a personalized Residential Treatment Program or an Intensive Outpatient Program, each patient develops the skills they need to support their own outcomes.

No matter what your journey looks like, we’re here to help you every step of the way. From rebuilding and repairing past relationships to seeing the future with renewed hope and resolve, our programs can help you or your loved one get on the path to permanent sobriety.

Residential & Inpatient Treatment: An faq

Answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding inpatient treatment:

Will My Health Insurance Cover Substance Abuse Treatment?

Most major health insurance plans cover admission into  detox centers and any subsequent rehab programs, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our admissions specialists will help determine your eligibility during your initial consultation.

How Long Does Inpatient or Residential Treatment Typically Last?

There is not a set timeline for your recovery. It is different for everyone. Your stay in residential treatment will last as long as it needs to so that you can make the transition to your next stage of recovery in the right headspace.

Some people stay in inpatient treatment for weeks while some stay up to a month or more. Your care team will monitor your program progress and advance you to the next level of care when you are ready.

Will I Get to See My Friends and Family While I am in a Residential Program?

Most inpatient programs put a high priority on keeping connected to your support system. Many facilities will have designated visitation days where you can spend time with your loved one in a recovery setting.

Where Will I Go After I Am Done With Residential Treatment?

After you have completed the inpatient recovery phase of your treatment plan, you will likely advance to a partial hospitalization program (PHP). In this next level of care you will continue your recovery journey using the same modalities and therapies as inpatient, but you will not be in a 24-hour care setting.

What If I Don’t Feel Like I’m Ready to Leave Inpatient Treatment?

It is not uncommon to experience some trepidation about leaving an inpatient program. If you have hesitations about transitioning to the next level of care, speak with your care team about your concerns.

What Happens If I Relapse After I Leave My Residential Program?

If you begin using addictive substances or repeating harmful behaviors post-discharge from an inpatient program, it is important that you speak with your care team right away. Depending on your unique circumstances, readmission to an inpatient treatment program may be necessary, as well as repeating detox.

It’s important to remember that a relapse doesn’t have to be permanent, and it doesn’t mean you have failed. It means that you still have healing to do. You can come back from a relapse even stronger.

What About Sober Living Arrangements?

After a residential program, your care team may suggest that you stay in a recovery community  rather than live on your own or return home.

When you stay in a supportive living community, you will live with other people who share your experiences and goals for getting healthy and staying sober and clean. In a supportive living environment, you will learn even more coping skills that will help you maintain your sobriety before you make the next transition to independent living.

If you or a loved one is suffering from drug abusealcohol addiction, or co-occurring disorder/dual diagnosis, call and speak with our team to discuss treatment options.
