Psyclarity: Your Catalyst for Lifelong Healing

It’s Time to Reclaim Your Future

At Psyclarity, our focus is on holistic and effective treatment based on each patient’s individual needs. Our individualized treatment plans combine therapeutic modalities and an integrated approach to help patients stay sober and adopt healthier and more productive habits outside of residential treatment.

With Psyclarity’s Los Angeles IOP program, patients have access to the therapies they need with the schedule flexibility and independence to manage daily responsibilities.

With the help of clinical staff and a group of peers, patients can learn coping skills, stress management, and healthy habits to help them maintain sobriety outside of an inpatient program.

What is the Difference Between
An Outpatient Program & Intensive Outpatient Programs?

An Outpatient Treatment Program permits patients to receive substance use disorder, drug abuse, or mental health treatment while attending school or going to work. Over several hours per day, patients attend group therapy, individual therapy, and other therapeutic modalities without compromising their daily responsibilities.

An Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program is a more involved alternative to Inpatient Services at a higher level of acuity than Outpatient Programs. Our programs are designed to provide the highest level of outpatient care in a rehab facility that patients can fit into their daily lives.

Our OP and IOP programs incorporate multiple treatment options and therapeutic modalities, including family therapy, group therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), all designed around the patient’s individual needs.

We strive to meet the patient where they are and provide the level of care necessary for lasting recovery and well-being.

What the Intensive Outpatient Program
Looks Like at Psyclarity

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to recovery.. Each patient who comes to our rehab center undergoes an assessment by a dedicated case worker. Post-assessment, a mental health issues or substance abuse treatment plan is created with an individualized approach.

Our integrative approach features a broad range of evidence-based and industry-leading therapeutic modalities to address patients’ individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (CBT), Group Therapy, and Family Therapy, all supported by our clinical staff.

Lasting 8-12 weeks, each patient will focus on setting healthy boundaries, preventing relapse, and gaining coping skills that support long-term recovery. During this treatment period, the patient will participate in group therapy and engage in private sessions for more individualized treatment. These programs consist of three to five hours of treatment and coping skill development.

Once the initial phase of IOP is complete, the case management team will develop an aftercare plan to ensure that the patient has guidance and support for the future. Like the treatment plan, the aftercare plan is individualized based on the patient’s circumstances and goals.

Answers To Some Of The Most Frequently Asked Questions About
Outpatient & Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Have questions? We’ve got answers.

Do I Need to Go to Inpatient Before Outpatient Treatment?

No recovery journey is the same. Some individuals benefit from admission to detox or an inpatient treatment program prior to outpatient, and some go directly to outpatient. Your care team will evaluate your situation upon admission and determine the best care plan for your unique needs.

Where Will I Live During Outpatient Treatment?

Your living situation during outpatient care will depend on what’s best for you. Many people live independently or with loved ones while admitted to an outpatient program, while others benefit the most from a supportive housing and recovery community.

Supportive living is a controlled environment in a treatment center specifically for those in recovery, but not with hospitalization. When you stay in a supportive living home, you will live with other people who share in your experiences, challenges, and recovery goals. In this type of living arrangement, you will learn additional coping skills in support groups that help prepare you to transition into living independently.

At Psyclarity, we understand that the amount of time you spend in a recovery environment directly impacts your success in getting–and staying–clean and sober. Speak with your care team to determine whether supportive living is right for you.

I’m Worried That I’ll Relapse During Outpatient Treatment. What Do I Do?

Relapsing while in drug rehab is a common concern. Throughout your recovery journey, you will be supported by a compassionate clinical team that is invested in your recovery and long-term success. If you feel that you are at risk for relapsing into old behaviors, speak with a member of your care team at our addiction treatment center. Together, we will create a plan that will help you stay committed to your recovery.

It is important to keep in mind that relapsing is not a permanent situation and does not mean that you will not recover. A relapse is an opportunity to identify triggers, start over, and recover even stronger.

What About My Job, Family, School, and Other Obligations Outside of Recovery?

An outpatient program allows you to participate in your treatment during the day and return home at night. Many people are able to attend to their jobs, continue their education, and attend to family obligations in the evening hours.

What Happens After Outpatient Treatment?

After an outpatient program, you will transition into remote care or aftercare. This next level of care provides the continued support that you need to keep yourself on the right track while you re-enter life outside of a recovery environment.

How Long Will I Need to Be in Outpatient or IOP Treatment?

You can receive outpatient care for as long as you need to. There is no definitive recovery timeline for addiction treatment. Some individuals stay in outpatient care for weeks and transition to sober living, while others remain in this type of program for months. Everyone’s healing journey is different.

Your care team is here to answer any questions you may have about your recovery progress or how long you may need to stay in an outpatient recovery program.

How Will I Know When I Am Ready to Transition to Outpatient from Inpatient?

When you are inpatient recovery for an addiction treatment program, you will learn necessary coping skills and behaviors that will equip you for your next stage in recovery. With the guidance of your care team, you will transition from an inpatient recovery program to an outpatient program when it is safe, comfortable, and appropriate for you to do so.

At Psyclarity, you will never be left “in the dark” about your progress in recovery, nor will you be advanced to a level of care that you are not fully ready for. We work with you every step of the way to ensure that you are on track for lifelong healing.
