The Psyclarity Difference
At Our Treatment Centers
In California

Our team is dedicated to approaching each patient with comprehensive and individualized care. Our methods are scientific and our modalities are holistic.

We believe the key to lasting recovery lies within how well one is reintegrated into their life and their roles. From professional and academic to social and recreational, not everything must change to maintain sobriety -just the right things.

Each patient journey is molded to fit their life and what matters most to each one. For some, a deeply personal residential treatment is the solution, while for others it is supportive weekly aftercare in a group setting.

Whatever the journey looks like for you or your loved one, we’re here to prepare each patient for long-term success and sobriety.

Reintegration after inpatient care or during outpatient care can add unnecessary stressors that complicate the process.

We want our patients to repair and rebuild every facet of their lives with a new sober focus. To view their options and their future with a renewed hope and to reconnect with their goals so that when they reintegrate into their life, it feels as natural as possible.

Residential & Inpatient Treatment In The State Of California Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about residential and inpatient treatment programs in our rehabilitation centers in Los Angeles, San Diego, and other California locations? Here are answers to the most common questions.

Does Health Insurance Cover Substance Abuse Treatment?

Most major health insurance providers cover rehab programs like residential and inpatient hospitalization, including Medicare and Medicaid. You can determine if you’re eligible for insurance coverage during your admissions process for our treatment services.

How Long Does Inpatient or Residential Treatment Last?

Recovery looks different for everyone. Some people may only need inpatient treatment services for a few weeks, while others may do best if they stay a month or more – it all depends on your individual circumstances. You can stay in the program as long as necessary to receive drug addiction or alcohol addiction treatment and prepare you for a transition to outpatient rehab or another level of care. We’re with you every step of the way and we’ll monitor your progress to help you know when it’s time for the next step.

Who Is Inpatient Rehabilitation For?

Inpatient treatment is appropriate for people with substance use disorder or mental health disorders, including dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders. With 24/7 monitoring, inpatient care gives you support, supervision, and treatment services to prepare you for a transition to outpatient treatment or sober living homes.

What’s Next After Residential Treatment?

After inpatient treatment is complete, you can move into the next level of care as part of your treatment plan. Everyone’s recovery journey is different, so you may choose to go into a partial hospitalization program (PHP, intensive outpatient program (IOP), or an outpatient program with more flexibility at our treatment facility. Each level of care provides evidence-based therapeutic modalities to continue to build your support system and learn coping skills, but these environments differ in their structure and flexibility.

Will I Be Cut Off from Family During Inpatient Treatment?

Everyone in recovery relies on a solid support network to achieve their goals and prevent relapse. Throughout inpatient treatment, you’ll be encouraged to build connections with recovery peers and maintain contact with friends and family who support your treatment goals. At Psyclarity, we host designated visitation days that grant you time with your loved ones in the security of the recovery center.

What If I Don’t Feel Ready to Leave Inpatient Treatment?

Being hesitant to take the next step after inpatient or residential treatment is natural. Each stage of your recovery is designed to give you a steady step down into more freedom and autonomy, eventually transitioning you to sobriety. You won’t go right from inpatient treatment to day-to-day life. You have options like PHP, IOP, outpatient care, and sober living at our addiction treatment center, ensuring that you have the right support at the right time.

What Happens If I Relapse?

Relapse prevention is an important part of recovery, but that doesn’t mean you’ve failed if you fall back into drug abuse, alcohol abuse, or unhelpful behaviors. If this happens, it’s an indication that you may need to return to a more structured rehab treatment plan like medical detox or inpatient care. The most important thing with relapse is letting your care team know as soon as possible, so you can get back on track with your recovery program.
